Makassar, fkg.umi.ac.id – In the holy spirit of the month of Ramadhan, KBMFKG UMI is again holding the annual BERKAH agenda with the theme "Achieving World Success, Holding the Blessings of the Hereafter". The official opening event was held at the POMD FKG UMI Building, (21/2/2026)
Committee Chair Ahmad Syafii said in his report that this activity started today, Saturday, February 21 2026 and the peak activity on Saturday, February 28 2026 was coupled with a group breaking the fast and tausiah at the UMI Campus 2 Auditorium.
The agenda being held includes; Lecture competition, poster competition, MHQ competition by presenting a panel of judges from internal and external UMI,
Chairman of BEM KBMFKG-UMI Ailan Alif Wajdi Daya said that this program is the flagship work program of BEM FKG-UMI in every holy month of Ramadhan and always provides different nuances every year, including types of competitions and Tausiah Lecturers who always present from outside campus.
DR.Surani, S.Ag., M.Ag Deputy Dean V officially opened the annual BERKAH event, who in his speech expressed his appreciation for the consistency of KBMFKG UMI in presenting programs with spiritual and social academic value.
"BERKAH Ramadhan is here as a reminder that academic and professional success must go hand in hand with the values of faith and piety. In the midst of the dynamics of studying and the demands of competence as a prospective dentist, Ramadhan is a space to set intentions, improve oneself, and strengthen commitment in spreading benefits. This activity is a special moment that is always looked forward to every year as a place for spiritual development, strengthening ukhuwah, and self-reflection for all FKG UMI students." he said
