Makassar, fkg.umi.ac.id – BEM KBMFKG UMI successfully held the DENTIVE (Dentistry Creative Workshop) activity with the theme "Exploring Creativity in the Digital Age: Visual Innovation in the Contemporary Era." This activity took place on Sunday, April 19 2026, at 08.00 WITA, at the Al-Jibra Auditorium, Indonesian Muslim University.
This event was also attended by Assistant Vice Chancellor III Indonesian Muslim University Dr. Ir. Anshariah, ST., MT. IPP, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Indonesian Muslim University, Prof. Drg. H. Moh. Dharma Utama, Ph.D., Sp.Pros., Subspecial., PKIKG(K), as well as the lecturers, who provided full support for holding this activity as part of developing student competencies in the field of digital creativity.
DENTIVE is an inspiring platform for students to develop creativity and visual abilities amidst the rapid development of digital technology. Participants' enthusiasm was visible from the start to the end of the activity, reflecting their high interest in developing soft skills in the field of digital creativity.
This activity presents presenters who are competent in their fields, namely Drg. Aulia Yudha Prawira, Sp. Perio, who shared insights about the importance of visual innovation in the world of dentistry, especially in building effective educational communication in the digital era. The material presented does not only focus on clinical aspects, but also how to utilize visual media as a means of education and professional branding.
Apart from that, the workshop session was even more interesting with the presence of Clara Nita Fitriany as a videographer who provided insight regarding creative video shooting techniques that are relevant to current trends. Participants also gain practical understanding of how to produce interesting and informative visual content.
No less important, Andi Kurnia Avirya as a photographer also shared tips and tricks for producing high quality photos, from shooting techniques to editing processes that support contemporary visual aesthetics.
Through this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to integrate creativity with their knowledge, so that they can adapt and innovate in the dynamic digital era. DENTIVE is clear evidence of BEM KBMFKG-UMI's commitment to supporting the development of student soft skills, especially in the field of digital creativity which is increasingly relevant today.
