This activity presented international speakers, Prof. Dr. Firdaus Hariri, BDS, MDS, MBBS, MSc, who gave an in-depth explanation of various emergency cases in the field of dentistry that require fast and precise treatment. The material presented includes identifying emergency cases that are often encountered in clinical practice, initial treatment steps, and patient management strategies to prevent more serious complications.
This Guest Lecture was attended by UMI FKG students and lecturers who enthusiastically participated in each discussion session. Through this activity, participants gained new insight into the development of dental science, especially in the aspect of handling emergency cases which is an important competency for prospective professional dentists.
Apart from enriching academic knowledge, this activity also provides a platform for students to interact directly with international experts, thereby broadening their perspective on dental practice at a global level. The interactive discussion that took place during the activity gave participants the opportunity to ask various questions related to clinical cases that are often encountered in dental health services.
FKG UMI hopes that holding this Guest Lecture can increase student competence in facing the challenges of the professional world, while strengthening an academic culture that is oriented towards developing knowledge and improving the quality of dental health services.
Through academic activities that present experienced speakers from various countries, FKG UMI continues to strive to produce graduates who are superior, professional, and able to compete at national and international levels.
