Makassar,fkg.umi.ac.id – The Faculty of Dentistry, Indonesian Muslim University held a Monthly Remembrance and Joint Prayer activity which was combined with the Topping Off Tower of FKG UMI as an expression of gratitude for the achievements of the construction of the new FKG UMI building. This activity was attended by the leadership of the UMI Waqf Foundation, University leaders, academics, lecturers, education staff, RSIGM staff, UMI LPP teachers, and students.
The series of activities began with congregational Dhuha prayers, followed by collective remembrance and prayer as an effort to ask for blessings, safety and smooth completion of the construction of the UMI FKG Tower so that it can be immediately utilized to support the education, research and community service processes.
Entering the welcoming session, the Dean of FKG UMI Prof. Drg. H. Moh. Dharma Utama, Ph.D., Sp.Pros., Subsp. PKIKG(K). expressed his appreciation to all parties who have provided support for the construction of the FKG UMI Tower. He hopes that the presence of this new building can be a milestone in improving the quality of dental education services and strengthening the competitiveness of FKG UMI at national and international levels.
Furthermore, the Chancellor of UMI in his speech emphasized that the construction of the UMI FKG Tower is part of the Indonesian Muslim University's commitment to providing educational facilities and infrastructure that are modern, representative, and oriented towards improving academic quality.
The speech was then continued by the Chairman of the UMI Waqf Foundation Management who expressed his gratitude for the development progress which had reached the topping off stage. He hopes that the entire construction process can be completed on time so that this building can provide great benefits to the academic community and the wider community.
On the same occasion, the Chairman of the Trustees of the UMI Waqf Foundation emphasized that the construction of the UMI FKG Tower is a long-term investment for educational progress. He invited the entire academic community to maintain the spirit of togetherness in realizing FKG UMI as a superior educational institution, with an Islamic character and globally competitive.
As the highlight of the event, it was heldsribbon cutting ceremony carried out jointly by the Chancellor of UMI, Chairman of the Management of the UMI Waqf Foundation, and Chairman of the Foundation TrusteesUMI Waqfas a symbol of the start of the final completion stage of the construction of the FKG UMI Tower.
The series of activities then closed with a visit to floors 1 to 6 of the FKG UMI Tower. The leaders directly inspected the development progress on each floor while ensuring the readiness of facilities that would later support academic activities and services within the UMI Faculty of Dentistry.
Through this activity, FKG UMI hopes that the construction of the FKG UMI Tower can be completed soon and become an educational facility that is modern, comfortable, and able to support the birth of dentist graduates who are superior, professional, and based on Islamic values.
