The Faculty of Dentistry, as the youngest faculty of the 13 undergraduate faculties managed by the Indonesian Muslim University, has succeeded in producing the first batch of dental graduates with a total of 48 people.

"Thank God, the UMI Faculty of Dentistry, has succeeded in producing Dentistry graduates for seven semesters in 2016 with an average grade of 'A'," this was conveyed by the Dean of the UMI FKG, Dr. Drg. H.Syamsu Khaldun, M.kes.,, on the sidelines of the table exams in the UMI FKG hall, UMI Campus 1, Jl. Cockatoo (12/4).

The implementation of the results seminar exam is different from the others, because we have prepared a special time for the exam, for four days, 11-14 April 2016, starting at 08.00-15.00, so there is no reason for the examining lecturer not to be present to test and focus on providing guidance to students taking the exam.

Of the 48 theses tested, Syamsu Khaldun added that several of these thesis writings were conditional to be proposed in national and international journals. Thank God, this was thanks to the cooperation of all parties, starting from leaders, lecturers, employees as well as students' discipline and persistence in completing their studies with thesis writings that were worthy of being proposed to international journals.

When asked about the continuation of the dental education program, Syamsu Khaldun added that after successfully achieving the SKG degree, they will continue their general clerkship and clinical clerkship for three semesters, so that our plan is that students studying at FKG UMI will succeed in achieving a dentist degree in ten semesters, of course with the qualities that are ready to appear as professional dentists.
