Makassar, fkg.umi.ac.id – A total of 79 professional Dentist students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Indonesian Muslim University took part in the Heart Enlightenment activity which was held at the Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School in Padang Lampe Pangkep on Friday 22 May 2026. This activity is part of the spiritual development and strengthening the character of professional students in forming individuals with integrity, morals and strong Islamic values.
Before leaving for the activity location, the participant release procession was carried out in the FKG UMI environment. The official release was carried out by Deputy Dean IV FKG UMI Dr. Syarifa Roehana, S.Ag., M.Ag. I and was also attended by faculty leaders, educational staff and students of the dental profession FKG UMI who will take part in this activity. The atmosphere of the release was solemn and full of the spirit of togetherness as a form of support for developing student character.
In his speech, Deputy Dean IV FKG UMI expressed his hope that the Enlightenment of the Qalbu activity could become a momentum for self-reflection and increase the spirituality of FKG UMI dental profession students in undergoing education and community service as prospective health workers.
The group of UMI FKG professional students was warmly welcomed by the Director of Padang Lampe and his staff. This welcome reflects the family atmosphere and synergy in supporting student development activities which not only focus on academic aspects, but also mental and spiritual strengthening.
The Qalbu Enlightenment activity is filled with various agendas for Islamic development, motivation, self-reflection, as well as strengthening moral values and professional ethics. Through this activity, students are expected to be able to improve their self-quality, strengthen their integrity, and have a high level of concern and responsibility as prospective professional dentists. A warm and togetherness atmosphere was visible throughout the activity. The enthusiasm of the participants shows the enthusiasm of FKG UMI dental professional students in participating in the coaching process which is an important part of their educational journey.
