Makassar, fkg.umi.ac.id – UMI Faculty of Dentistry welcomed the visit of UMI Vice Chancellor II Prof. Dr. Zakir Sabara HW, ST., MT., IPM., ASEAN Eng., APEC Eng in dialogue and friendship activities. This event was attended by the Dean of FKG UMI Prof. Drg. H. Moh. Dharma Utama, PhD., Sp.Pros, SubsSp. PKIKG(K), Deputy Deans, lecturers, and employees of FKG UMI and representatives from RSIGM YW UMI. This event took place in the 2nd Floor Hall of FKG UMI, Jl. Padjonga w. Ngalle, Makassar City, on Wednesday (22/4/2026)
This activity is a forum for strengthening friendship as well as building effective communication between university leaders and all elements of the academic community. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the dialogue took place interactively by discussing various matters related to strengthening performance, improving services, as well as a shared commitment to advancing the institution.
On this occasion, WR II UMI delivered an important message emphasizing the value of sincerity and integrity in carrying out the mandate. He reminded each individual not to change before Allah just because of rank, position and position.
"Never change in front of Allah just because of rank, position and position. Because if Allah changes the way He gives even a little, our lives will immediately feel difficult," he said.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the values upheld at UMI are not only limited to intellectual ability. "At UMI what is seen is not only ability, not only intelligence but also sincerity. Not only smart, but caring. Not only working, but serving with heart," he continued.
Closing his message, WR II emphasized that UMI not only needs great individuals, but also individuals who have a spirit of service. He hopes that the entire academic community can continue to struggle and contribute to educating people for mutual progress.
Through this activity, it is hoped that stronger synergy will be established and joint commitment will grow in realizing the vision and mission of the Indonesian Muslim University.
