
Makassar, fkg.umi.ac.id – The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of the Indonesian Muslim University again held a routine judicial event for the pronouncement of the dentist's oath and the appointment of dental graduates for the first period in 2026 which was held at the Claro Makassar hotel (4/3/2026)
There were 76 alumni participating in the first period of the judiciary, including those from the dental profession and graduates in dentistry
This activity began with the reading of the holy Koran, followed by the reading of the dean's decree regarding dentist graduates and the reciting of the dentist's oath. then, the reading of the dental undergraduate appointment by the deputy dean I of FKG UMI, namely drg. Syamsiah Syam, Sp.KG., Ph.D.


Followed by remarks from the Chancellor of the Indonesian Muslim University, Prof. Dr. H. Hambali Talib, S.H., M.H congratulated the alumni on their success
"I leave a message to my children, the first is to maintain the good name of the alma mater and show the community that you were indeed born from an institution that has a vision and mission, giving birth to dentists and graduates who are ethical, have scientific deeds, have good morals and are empowered with global science. Secondly, even though all of you have been formally released by the alma mater, dental faculty, we hope that all of you will not be left behind by the dynamics of scientific development, especially dental science. "It's developing so fast," he said
Dentist Code of Ethics Reading Event by Dr. Drg. Nur Asmah, Sp.KG . then continued with the reading of the decision letters for the best graduates, outstanding graduates, and the highest UKMP2DG scores by the Deputy Dean III, namely Drg. Nurasisa Lestari, Sp. KGA.
In this case too, the Chairman of the Regional Management of the Indonesian Dentists Association (PDGI) South Sulawesi, Dr. Drg. Ardiansyah S. Pawinru, Sp.Ort., Subsp. DDTK (K) received a list of names of dentist alumni from the dental faculty. He advised how dentists must understand the difference between malpractice and medical risk. As well as conveying the importance of working according to competence and professionalism.
Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Drg. H. Moh. Dharma Utama, Ph.D., Sp. Pros., Sub.Sp. PKIKG (K) gave a welcome and congratulations to 76 graduates and professionals.
"Our faculty consists of a big vision because it has four dharma pillars, namely education, research, service, and da'wah. And thank God, all my children, both SKG and dentists, have fulfilled these four pillars. These four pillars are the identity of FKG UMI alumni. You have studied science, you have done research, you have served, but there is one thing that you must have throughout your life, namely da'wah through profession." he said
"Congratulations to all the alumni who have shown character. To the dentists who took the oath and the SKG who took the oath, this is not just a sentence, this is a promise of honor, a promise to patients, a promise to the profession, a promise to the nation, and also a promise to Allah SWT." he added
This event was combined with the presentation of souvenirs to lecturers who had completed specialist studies in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Nurasisa Lestari, Sp. KGA and dentist radiology specialist Drg Dian Handayani, Sp. RKG. AND drg. Andi Rasdianti, Sp. RKG. The Chancellor, accompanied by the Dean, handed over souvenirs to lecturers who had completed specialist studies. This was followed by the handing over of souvenirs by the chairman of POMD FKG UMI, Drg Sohrah.
