
Makassar, fkg.umi.ac.id – The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of the Indonesian Muslim University again held a routine judicial event for the second period of the dentist's oath in 2026, which was attended by 19 dentist alumni. This routine judicial event for period II was held at the Claro Makassar hotel (4/6/2026)
This activity began with the reading of the holy Koran, followed by the reading of the dean's decree regarding dentist graduates and the reciting of the dentist's oath by the deputy dean I of FKG UMI, namely Drg. Syamsiah Syam, Sp.KG., Ph.D.
Followed by remarks from the Chancellor of the Indonesian Muslim University, Prof. Dr. H. Hambali Talib, S.H., M.H congratulated the alumni on their success and advised them on how to become dentists who are able to be responsible for the needs of society.
"The responsibility of a dentist is not only a matter of service to humanity but there is a moral responsibility as a dentist. It is a responsibility as a member of the community and alumni which is a moral obligation to protect the alma mater. Show the public that you are a doctor who is able to compete wherever and whenever." he said

Then the event continued with the reading of the Dentist Code of Ethics byDrg. Nur Fadhila Arifin, MARS., FIFHAA. then continued with the reading of the decision letters for the best graduates and the highest UKOMNAS-PPDG scores by the Deputy Dean III, namely Drg. Nurasisa Lestari, Sp. KGA.
In this case too, the Chairman of the Regional Management of the Indonesian Dentists Association (PDGI) South Sulawesi, represented by drg. Riesky Ramdhani, Sp. Pros received a list of names of dentist alumni from the dental faculty. He expressed very high appreciation because to this day PDGI Sulselbar is still involved in witnessing the birth of a new dentist from FKG UMI.

Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Drg. H. Moh. Dharma Utama, Ph.D., Sp. Pros., Sub.Sp. PKIKG (K) gave a proud welcome and congratulations to the 19 dentist alumni for period II 2026 who succeeded in passing 100% of the First Taker participants.
"Today is not just taking the dentist's oath, today is just a ceremonial event. Today is the day your personal changes forever. Today your name is followed by the title before DRG and your last name is followed by the title S.KG. Today your parents say that name with pride. Today your responsibilities increase. And, today you are winners but you don't walk alone, there are your parents' prayers who always accompany your steps, efforts and hard work." he added
The final event closed with the reading of a prayer by the deputy dean IV of FKG UMI, Mrs. Dr. Syarifa Raehana, S. Ag., M. Ag.
